I am lucky enough to be able to spend our summer vacation in Puglia each year, since we have a family home in the Gargano area there.

For the past eight years I've explored Puglia and the Gargano area and now I want to share these hidden gems with you all!

Mattinatella is by far my all time favourite beach in all of the Gargano area. It's not easy to find (which is why I think there are few tourists there) but once you've figured out the road there it's 100% worth it.

We personally love Lido Lorenzo for their amazing food, hospitality and great prices. However if you're on a budget or prefer to bring your own umbrella and chairs there are 3 "public" beach areas available.

If you want to go to Lido Lorenzo, I suggest booking in advance by phone. Remember that parking is included in the price of your umbrella/chair rental, and be sure to come hungry because their seafood is aaamazing!
