Brand New Honda HRN216VKA won't start, sputters or just stops running. I found that the fuel delivery is the issue and loosening the gas cap allows the mower to start and run normally. I also cover the install and/or function of an hour meter, speed control, fuel valve, air filter, water bottle, extra gas mount and run time. The issues with this GCV170 motor could be similar to GCV200 on the HRX217VKA series as well or really any HRN216 or HRX217 series. If the mower sputters and tries to stall while I am cutting grass then I will stop moving and while mower is running, reach down and loosen the gas cap. This will allow air in and the fuel will flow down to the carburetor and the the RPM's will pickup again.
