Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala and highly appreciated the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for implementing advanced AI-based services for devotees.

Speaking to the media after his darshan, Piyush Goyal lauded the Integrated Command and Control Center set up at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. He noted that the real-time monitoring of room occupancy, devotee movement, darshan queue lines, and laddu prasadam distribution ensures a highly transparent and efficient system. He congratulated the TTD officials for making this AI-based system operational in less than 100 days.

Furthermore, the Union Minister praised AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh for actively promoting technology to drive the state's development. On the occasion of World Environment Day, Piyush Goyal participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative and planted a sapling in Tirumala in honor of his mother. He urged every child to plant a tree in their mother's name and nurture it for life. He also mentioned that it has been his tradition to visit Tirumala every year during the first week of June on the occasion of his birthday.
