Aftermath of 1977 Youngstown, Ohio Steel Mill Closure (Mini-Doc)

When Youngstown Sheet and Tube closed its home plant on September 19, 1977, it furloughed 5,000 workers in the process. This event, now referred to by locals as 'Black Friday', had lasting detrimental economic impacts that are still seen in the area to this day. Within a year of the event, this mini-documentary was produced and aired to detail the lives of a family who was particularly affected.

For members of the Dill/Nicalek family watching this, I (the uploader) am Justin Zetts, adopted son of Bob Nicalek. I acquired this video from John and Lynn Desantis.

If anyone has any additional information regarding the creation of this documentary, please let me know and I will update the video title and description.
