This ever-growing city – host to the Expo 2017 world fair – offers a glimpse into a town of tomorrow. Burabay (Kazakh: Бурабай көлі, Burabaı kóli; Russian: Боровое, Borovoe) is one prominent lake of a group of lakes that share the same name in northern Kazakhstan, located in the Burabay District of Akmola Region, in the eastern foothills of Kokshe Mountain.
