Lunch & Learn: Geology of the Maine Coast
Dr. Joe Kelley, a Professor of Marine Geology at the University of Maine joined us to present “Geology of the Maine Coast”. In this presentation, he explained the three elements which form the coast, it’s bedrock, glacial deposits and modern processes. He focused on the importance of changes in sea level in the evolution of the modern coastal landscape.
