Replacing Excavator Track Top Rollers - Link Belt 3400

After finally noticing two of my track rollers badly worn, I decided to go ahead and replace all four. After all, I put new track chains on a year ago and I'm not about to wear them flat any sooner if I can help it!

The process is very easy. The video is 16 min, but with proper tools laid out, I'd say it's little more than 10 min per roller. Aside from the cost ($80-90/roller) there is no excuse not to fix them. And hey, it's not all lost. At nearly 50 lbs each, and scrap steel at $.03/lb, you get like $1.50 if you cash in!
