The U. S. Space & Rocket Center once again welcomes visitors to explore the museum. Just as astronauts brave the challenges of Space, we will be facing the challenges presented by COVID-19. To protect the safety of our staff and guests, we have adopted the following new procedures:

We will open with limited attendance and encourage the pre-purchase of tickets. Click here to purchase your timed tickets.
Our entrance has moved temporarily to the Davidson Center to support social distancing.
We now require face coverings for all staff members, and we strongly recommend face coverings for guests.
Our staff will be re-enforcing social distancing in queue-lines, at exhibits, and throughout the campus.
We have implemented increased frequency of sanitization and disinfection across all museum spaces.
Hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the museum.
We have temporarily closed exhibits and attractions where social distancing is not possible. Click here for a list of open areas.
Our operating hours have changed to allow more time for cleaning and sanitizing. Click here to see our current hours of operation.
We are implementing these new measures and procedures to keep staff and visitors healthy.

Please remember that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present.

When will the U.S. Space & Rocket Center be open?
We will reopen to Museum Members only on Friday, May 29th, 2020 and to the General Public on Saturday, May 30th, 2020.
What are the new operating hours?
Operating hours are:
Monday: Closed for cleaning
Tuesday through Friday: 10 AM - 4 PM
Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM
Sunday: 11 AM - 5 PM
How is The Rocket Center supporting social distancing?
All areas are signed with reminders to stay 6 feet apart, queue-lines are marked in 6-foot increments and plexiglass shields have been installed in transaction areas. Areas where social distancing is not possible have been temporarily closed.
