V10E6: Taking the Time to Scout
When the road ahead is uncertain, I park the Jeep and check it out on foot! The episode commences in White River National Forest, en route to Marble, Colorado. I enjoy an amazing campsite in a canyon, with several waterfalls. Avalanche damage threatens forward progress. Upon arriving in Marble, I'm met with a massive and delicious brisket and burnt-end sandwich. I resupply in Paonia and make my way into Gunnison National Forest to explore among the aspens. Talk about Salomon Outline GTX hiking shoes. First campfire in a long time, before concluding the week in Montrose.
