Wreckage From WWII Japanese Battleship Hiei Discovered by R/V Petrel
The wreck of the Japanese battleship Hiei, sunk on November 14, 1942, was located in the Iron Bottom Sound by R/V Petrel during a late January expedition. Watch video from more than 1000 meters below the sea.
