STEAM POWERED MACHINE SHOP 50 Boiler certification, saving a hit & miss cylinder
Video number 50 from my shop set up as a steam powered small job machine shop of 1925. These clips feature a "sleeve job" to salvage a cylinder from an early 1900 gasoline 6HP engine. The boring mill is run by electric power, but I thought you might be interested in seeing how the job was done. Any discussion, questions, or comments on steam power, line shaft systems, and old school machine work are always welcome here. You can follow shop news on my G+ page. Thanks for your subscriptions, likes and comments....Dave
