Walking NYC Chinatown (January 6, 2021)

I walk through Chinatown on a cold January night. Lanterns were strung up along Mott Street and really made the neighborhood come alive. The lanterns were part of a project called the Light Up Chinatown initiative, and were provided by the Pearl River Mart. I really appreciated the courage and persistence of the Chinatown community for handling the COVID pandemic throughout the recent months and I felt Chinatown will eventually recover stronger than ever before.
