Former FDA chief Scott Gottlieb on U.S. testing and tracing practices compared to Asian countries
Asian countries are "doing testing and tracing very aggressively — probably more aggressively than we can because we're just not going to surrender certain liberties," Former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb told CNBC Monday. Dr. Gottlieb added that the U.S. could probably do a better job of testing and tracing without having the same level of a "surveillance state" that some Asian countries such as China are implementing.
