Flying the Fisk Arrival -- EAA AirVenture 2017

The video starts with us approaching Ripon from the south in my Cessna 170B. My daughter and I are scanning for traffic and are creating our sequence with the other aircraft in the area. We spotted three other aircraft behind us putting us in the front of the group.

At Fisk the approach controller assigned us runway 36 and guided us to turn right to follow Fisk Ave. toward Wittman Field. After we crossed Hwy 41 the tower controller cleared us to land on the Blue Dot on runway 36L. I called for clarification and we were re-cleared to land on runway 36L.

After touchdown the flagmen guided us to the south end of Vintage Parking where we found our parking spot near the threshold of the ultralight runway. The arrival went fairly smooth and really wasn't very busy. But the airport filled up quickly and we were lucky to get the parking spot that we did.
