Bird Photography in the Field - Photography Tips & Techniques (Canon DSLR Camera)

I set out to capture atmospheric wildlife images, starting with herons in early morning mist and ending with skeins of geese at sunset. Follow my opportunistic adventure, photographing nature with just a handheld 400mm lens on my camera. All images taken on a Canon 1D Mark iv (cause my DX is still being serviced!!!)
