Europe, Stop Complaining About American Tech

Christie H.Kristensen caught up with the CEO of N26, Marcus W. Mosen. He argues that Europe should stop focusing on building “against” American companies and instead create products customers want: simple, digital, easy to use, and price-competitive. He emphasises competitiveness through collaboration with a customer-first mindset, and say innovation and business models should not be regulated so they can remain free. They highlight Europe’s fragmented market as a major challenge for companies trying to build a unified European offering and call for infrastructure focus on instant payments, digital identity, and API standardisation.
