We came to the disappointing conclusion that our garden just simply isn't getting the sun that it needs. We built the terraced beds before there were leaves on the trees and didn't realize how much foliage there would be which resulted in our garden only getting 3-4 hours of sun per day. Luckily Tori's cousin Jahrell is an arborist, so we had him up for the weekend to help us trim some branches and let more light in. We don't want to take any trees down because we tap most of them to make maple syrup in the spring, so this was the best option.
