Foghorn Stringband - Newport Waltz

Foghorn Stringband, featuring vocals by Nadine Landry, performs Newport Waltz by the Balfa Brothers. When the Balfa Brothers were invited to perform at the Newport Jazz Festival, the crowd having never heard Cajun music before went wild. They performed this waltz and named it Newport Waltz. Nadine Landry, vocals & bass; Stephen Sammy Lind, fiddle; Reeb Willms, guitar; Caleb Klauder, mandolin. This was our Holiday New Year’s concert in front of a packed house.
