Abdul Sattar Edhi was a great social worker and humanitarian of Pakistan. He dedicated his entire life to serving the poor, orphans, the sick, and the helpless.
Through the Edhi Foundation, he established ambulance services, orphanages, shelters, and free medical centers.He was also known as the "Mother Teresa of Pakistan."
Edhi led a simple life and never gave importance to wealth.His ambulance service is considered the world’s largest volunteer ambulance network. He served humanity without discrimination of color, race, or religion.
Abdul Sattar Edhi passed away in 2016, but his mission continues even today.
