Nintendo Today! brings Nintendo calendar and Switch 2 news directly to your smartphone home screen!

Nintendo has released a smartphone app today that not only makes it easier to keep up with all the latest news about the Nintendo Switch 2, but also includes a range of practical widgets for the home screen and calendars for in-game events.

The brand-new Nintendo Today! smartphone app is designed to bring together all the important news about Nintendo games and the Nintendo Switch 2 in one place. Nintendo also plans to offer comics, background information on games and characters, and videos, all in a personalized feed that focuses on the games that the user is interested in.

One of the most exciting features is the animated calendar, which is available in various designs, including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Animal Crossing. This calendar not only marks important Nintendo events in the real world, such as game launch dates or the time of a Nintendo Direct, but can also display in-game events, allowing you to see what's happening in the world of Animal Crossing directly on your smartphone.

This calendar can also be placed as a widget directly on a smartphone's home screen, with the widget's design being customizable in a variety of ways. Nintendo Today! joins a growing list of Nintendo apps. In addition to the Nintendo Switch Online app, Nintendo now also offers its own music streaming service , which primarily features music from Nintendo games.
