I was leaving the food vendors near the UST monument when suddenly I heard it — the church bells ringing. It was exactly 12 noon. I guess they were calling people to attend the noon mass. So I followed the sound and made my way to Manila Cathedral.

What happened next: I walked in, checked out the souvenir shop first (always curious what they sell), and then found myself inside the cathedral. The interiors are absolutely beautiful — the architecture, the light, the silence. But what really got me was the music. We actually started the first part of the mass with some live music, and honestly? It was inspiring. Emotional. I didn't expect to feel that way walking into a church at noon on a regular day. The music was just that good.
