Here's the truth about StealthWriter's claims to bypass AI detectors.

StealthWriter recently updated its tool, claiming it can bypass the August 2025 Turnitin AI detector with high-quality writing. As an experienced academic who has published on AI in higher education, I put this to the test.

In this video, I generate an essay using ChatGPT and then use StealthWriter's "Ghost" model at three different levels (Level 1, Level 7, and Level 10) to "humanize" the text. I ran all four documents through Turnitin , Originality.ai's new Lite, Turbo, and Academic detectors , and StealthWriter's own detector.

The results are fascinating. The Level 1 humanized text actually scored higher on Turnitin (98% AI) than the original ChatGPT essay (85% AI). And while the Level 10 text did get an "unknown" score (1-19%) from Turnitin, the quality of the writing was completely destroyed. It became confusing, unnatural, and filled with mistakes , including non-words like "fluidsity" and "collegesRNAs".

I'll break down all the scores and, most importantly, review the quality of each essay. I will show you exactly what educators will find suspicious and explain why these AI scores are ultimately meaningless.
