CORRECTION: 5:00 - I did my taxes and can confirm, leveraged ETFs get taxed like any other ETFs. Meaning if you sell within a year, you will pay tax at short term capital gain rate. If you held these for more than a year and sell , any capital gains will be taxed as long term capital gains. Cheers.
