Building Pipe Fence 005 - Setting Posts, how to Level keep a Straight Line.

Building fence, especially of this caliber should be a one time ordeal. So get it right the first time! Already I can see I am a little off from post to post, courtesy of the weeds grabbing my straight line. And I've found that the first two posts, which we set months ago by "eye-balling" it are way out of line. So I'm going of the second post, not the corner post as my main end. I'm planning on putting a gate in here, so hopefully that will make it not quite so obvious that it is so far off!

It seems that the plastic line levels are not very sensitive as my posts are also off a little on heights, but again, I'll just chalk that up to settling over the years.

I'm running out of post holes, so I guess I'm going to have to call up the neighbor again and have him come down with his tractor. I might have to pay him this time if I'm calling in another favor. Getting so much work done this weekend got me fired up again about the project, so I'm hoping to get more done in the next few weekends.
