The Diary of Bobby Sands – Day 4, Wednesday March 4th, 1981
For the first 17 days on hunger-strike in the H-Blocks of Long Kesh in 1981 Bobby Sands kept a diary. It was written in secret on scraps of paper and smuggled out of the H-Blocks. Bobby died on the 5th May after 66 days.
