Dr. Patrick Washington is on a mission to encourage more Black men to become teachers. He founded Man Up, which is a program that provides coaching, support, and job placement for Black men in educational settings. Kelly speaks with Patrick about what inspired him to start this program and talks to Ernest, a participant of the Man Up program, to hear how impactful this experience has been for him. Kelly and Big Lots! also donate $20,000 to help Patrick continue his mission to empower Black men to teach.
