The BEST Swirl Filter DIY! Duck Filtration UPDATE!!!
IMPORTANT UPDATE VIDEO HERE: https://youtu.be/sCXpfu2dCpY
Hey guys here is the update for my new filtration system. It is working AMAZING!!!! I had to address a concern that I go over in the video, but luckily it was really straightforward to address. Below, I've listed the few extra parts required for the FULL setup I have:
ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS FOR THE FULL SETUP:
Butyl Tape - https://amzn.to/3fF0QgH
Silicone 180 1-inch hose - https://amzn.to/2CgrJJz
90 degree elbow to connect to 180 hose - https://amzn.to/3hF1Jb6
1 inch bulkhead (need 2) for hoses to exit duck run - https://amzn.to/2YKaWpX
1-inch pond tubing (need 3: input, output, swirl drain/backwash) - https://amzn.to/3fBwOdT
1-1/4 pond tubing (for swirl to biofilter) - https://amzn.to/37CuyQX
Extension Cord (that can handle enough amperage) - https://amzn.to/3fzvF6z
Waterproof box (because ducks splash and it rains! My filter would always trip the breaker before I got this!) - https://amzn.to/30RLqSb
Power Strip (this one supposedly has a lot of safety built in) - https://amzn.to/3hEIDlr
