The Apple Watch 6 is the 6th installment in Apple's Smart Watch series! And boy, TONS has changed since David tried the very first unit (series 0)!

Let's look at some features of this device:

✅ Blood oxygen sensor added to the 6th installment of this series. You can manually use this option, AND, the device does this automatically
✅ A bright always on screen. The always-on setting is 20% brighter than the one of the past.
✅ Great look! David uses the Nike strap but you can use a different one as well.
✅ Wearable in the shower and in rain. You can even wear this one swimming
✅ Tons of new options, such as linking the watch to music on your phone, take phone calls through your watch, get notifications from your iPhone to your watch, and more.
✅ Far more full-spectrum in use than the Biostrap and Oura options on the market. So, this is NOT only a fitness-tracker!
✅ Ability to integrate with Fitness+. Ability to get the same info that Oura or Biostrap collect from you, except for body temperature.
✅ Ability to take an EKG: detect irregular heartbeats!

Here's what David likes and dislikes:

✅ Like: ability to install apps and customize your experience
✅ Like: A completely new type of health tracker, due to the ability to install apps and nudging. This device will work well for people who don't like the Biostrap EVO or Oura Ring. The reverse is also true, of course.
✅ Like: Customizable bands to optimize the looks towards what YOU like
✅ Like: upgraded processor that's MUCH quicker than previous versions
✅ Like: great integration with Fitness+ from Apple
✅ Like: sleep tracking has subtle nudging, instead of creating sleep anxiety about how you perform on Biostrap and Oura
✅ Like: Watch 6.0 buzzes to wake you up, and locks you out together with your iPhone when you need to go to sleep.
✅ Like: You can get ALL features from the Oura or Biostrap by installing apps on the Apple Watch.
✅ Dislike: high price point for many. Starting price is $399 - for GPS and WiFi. With cellular enabling $499. Bigger versions add about $30.
✅ Dislike: you already need an iPhone to have this Apple Watch work. Many functions only work through the iPhone.

Overall, the Apple Watch 6.0 is a truly wonderful product and the series has a GREAT future ahead!
