Activity network diagram || Critical Path Method || Efficient Project scheduling using an example
Activity network diagram is a quality management tool that helps develop project schedules efficiently by focusing on
1. Project activity attributes: Early Start, Early Finish, Late Start, and Late Finish of an activity.
2. Determining precedence and succeeding activities
3. How project activities network among each other (i.e. what set of activities can be performed in sequence/ parallel)
4. Determine critical path and Project duration
5. Available scheduling flexibility by identifying Total Float and Free Float for a given activity
