Site preparation continues with the Scania XT HKL, JCB mini excavator, and 6‑ton dumper as the cliffside is cleared for a new retention wall. The episode includes soil removal, equipment transport, and delivering a larger JCB excavator from the quarry for the next construction phase.

Hello and welcome to my new series where I build a construction and gardening services company. It is a timelapse series which is a continuation of the previous series. This is episode #38 - of Farming Simulator 25 Raven Valley Roleplay Public Works series.

The workday begins with the Scania XT HKL dump truck heading toward the construction site where the next phase of the project is scheduled. Today’s task focuses on clearing dirt and loose rock from the side of the cliff, preparing the area where the new retention stone blocks will eventually be placed. After arriving, the truck is carefully reversed into position so the hook‑lift trailer can be dropped off in a spot that’s easy to load later.

With the trailer set aside, attention shifts to the JCB mini excavator. The machine is positioned on the slope, giving enough reach to dig out the soil and stones that need to be removed. The JCB 6‑ton dumper is then parked beside the excavator to streamline the workflow. This setup allows the excavator to load directly into either the dumper or the hook‑lift container depending on what material is needed later.

The first bucket loads go straight into the trailer, filling it with the loose material that won’t be reused. As the digging continues, the next haul is placed into the dumper instead, since some of the soil will be needed later to fill small gaps behind the retention blocks. The hillside gradually takes shape as the excavator cuts into the slope, removing unstable sections and creating a clean, level base for the upcoming wall installation.

Once the area is fully cleared and shaped, the Scania XT is driven back to the base to unload the collected dirt. With the material tipped out, the truck is parked, and the Toyota Hilux is used to return to the construction site. Back on location, the next step involves preparing equipment for the upcoming heavy lifting work.

The Mercedes‑Benz Unimog is used to transport a winch back to the dealer, freeing up the vehicle for future tasks. After dropping it off, the route continues toward the quarry, where a larger JCB excavator is waiting. This machine will be essential for placing the heavy stone blocks during the next phase. The excavator is loaded onto a flatbed trailer, secured, and transported to the construction site.

Once unloaded, the larger JCB is positioned near the work zone, ready for the next episode. With the slope cleared, the equipment staged, and the groundwork complete, the site is fully prepared for the installation of the retention wall.
