Canyonlands National Park and the Cave Spring hiking trail. A step back in time to the old cowboy days. The Cave Spring Hiking Trail takes you back in time with a trip to the cowboy kitchen, and the cave spring which was a vital source of water in such a harsh summertime environment. We pass some petroglyphs along the way as we make our way to the ladders. Up two ladders and you are left with an astonishing view of Canyonlands National Park as well as the mountains. SOME of which still have snow on then...even though its well over a 100º everyday.
