New Zealand Honeymoon || Hobbiton, Rotorua, and Wai-O-Tapu

We started our day by listening to hundreds of birds waking up at our very first campsite of the trip! Then we made our way to Hobbiton, the movie set and home of the Shire as seen in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Trilogies. Click below for the FULL Hobbiton behind the scenes video!

We continued our drive South to the town of Rotorua, and we took a stroll around Wai-O-Tapu to see all of the geothermal activity up close! Man does it smell.

We stopped by Huka Falls on our drive to our next campsite and prepared for our attempt to hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing the next morning.
