About the Artist
Richard Parrish maintains a studio for kilnformed glass in Bozeman, Montana. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow. His background in architecture and his roots in the Intermountain West ground the artistic intent of his glasswork. Parrish has taught architecture and design at universities and teaches classes in kilnformed glass internationally. His artwork is held in public and private collections across the United States and Europe.
