toggle buttons are my new favorite component on mobile

I’ve been using this custom select component a lot lately.
Maybe a bit too much.
I prefer it over the built-in select because it’s flexible.
Single select or multi-select.
Styled based on the screen and context.
It works well when options are limited.
Not great UX if the list is too long.
In that case, a remote-driven select makes more sense.
This week I used it for permissions.
Selecting items one by one was painful.
So I added select all / deselect all.
The best part of modular components:
build once, reuse everywhere.
Pretty happy with the result.
