Cities of Uzbekistan - Fergana
Ferghana is the largest city in the Ferghana region. It is located in its southern part on the border with Kyrgyzstan. Ferghana was founded in the second half of the 19th century.
Among the sights of the city one can distinguish its numerous parks and gardens, a monument to Ahmad Al Fergani (the great astronomer of the 10th century) and the Museum of Local Lore.
