The BMW 5 Series is an executive car premium manufactured by German automaker BMW since 1972. It is the successor to the 4-door sedan models of the BMW New Class and is currently in its seventh generation. The seventh-generation 5 Series will be launched in India on 29th June 2017. The company will be assembling the CKD (completely knocked down) kits at the Chennai plant.
