During the same year, Holmes got another shot at a championship belt against Brian Nielsen. The former champ debated the split decision loss and believes he beat Nielsen up. However, Holmes claimed that the judges were swayed by the crowd reactions to Nielsen. Holmes also commented on a proposed $10 million payday to fight George Foreman and explained why the fight never happened.
