RBA Governor is ‘so out of touch’

Former speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says RBA Governor Michele Bullock is “so out of touch”.

The RBA Governor has this week claimed Australians aren't doing it so tough and the rate rises are all political noise.

Ms Bishop told Sky News host Sharri Markson that she isn’t sure what is going on with the government and its “changing the nature of the Reserve Bank”.

“And taking away its own ability to override, the government’s ability to override what the Reserve Bank says.

“That’s now been chucked by Jim Chalmers.

“I think there is a real problem about how much faith you can have.”
