Zoom LiveTrak L-12 audio mixer and R24 Multitrack recorder, 5 benefits of each machine

I've been a big fan of these zoom portable multitrack recorders for a long time. They don't take up a ton of space, they are easy to travel with and very versatile for the price. The R24 has been a staple of my DAW-less setup for a while, its great for just plugging in and jamming away, letting it capture everything. A friend of mine gave me his Livetrak L-12 to test, as he wasn't using it as much as he thought. So I decided to make a quick video about the positive aspects of each. Although the L-12 is meant to be the successor to the R24, I still see some positives to the R24's functionality that may suit someones workflow better. My personal preference now is the L-12, but I don't discount the R24's usefulness.
2 great products from Zoom! Although (I forgot to talk about this in the video so I'll just mention it here) adding midi would have been really nice. I'm sure a lot of people like me use these recorders for Daw-less setups and midi could be very useful for my workflow. I still enjoy both regardless.
Thanks for checking it out! I don't make many videos like this but I decided to give it a shot. If you enjoy what I do Please Subscribe!
