Remove Your Pickup Truck topper by yourself How to EASILY lift a cap lid canopy alone raise take off

In this video I go through removing my stuck leer truck topper canopy and how to get it up and off the bed and leave it hoisted in the garage safely, so I can use the truck for hauling. It is a simple enough job for one person. To hang it up in the garage you just need 4 straps and 4 hook securely fastened. I used a jack and some boards to loosen the topper prior to lifting. In all including buying the hooks and straps and lifting total time 2.5 hours, which could possibly have been reduced if I searched youtube to find out how to do this first. If you already have the straps and supplies and your topper is loose it is about a 30 minute job getting the supplies together and hanging it up. Simple and easy and a great way to have it ready to just lower and plop back on and your ready to go. Please make sure you have removed all of your securing brackets before applying any pressure. Watch the windows and molding and work slowly and steadily. If you work too fast you are most likely to get injured or break something resulting in hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of damage.
