Ottawa Welcomes One Young World 2016 | Opening Ceremony

This One Young World Summit 2016 kicked off on Parliament Hill with a welcome keynote from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Ceremony features speeches from Kofi Annan, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Mary Robinson and Bob Geldof.

The event includes the traditional One Young World Flag Bearing Ceremony, which included the Refugee Nation flag for the first time ever.

One Young World is the world's premier forum for young leaders, in Ottawa, Canada. The Summit brought together 1,300 delegates from all 196 UN-recognised countries, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change.
