For 2018, Oris pays tribute to its first 1938 "pointer date" wristwatch. This distinctive complication is celebrated in the bronze case Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th Anniversary Edition. At 40mm, the full bronze case with stainless steel caseback will fit a broad variety of wrists while striking an imposing stance.

An Oris luxury watch with a double dose of color, the Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date features a matte green dial ringed by a coined bronze bezel.

The dial features a red lunette style "pointer" date indicator that makes one circuit of the dial per month. A scale of twelve hours in white Arabic numerals permits easy reading, and pilot watch style cathedral hands carry plenty of super luminova for easy reading at night.

Oris' signature "big crown" sits at three o'clock. It controls a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. This Swiss caliber features a 38-hour power reserve, quick set date function, a 28,800 vibration per hour beat rate, and 26 jewels. Thanks to a screw down crown and caseback, the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th anniversary features 50-meter water resistance that is suitable for swimming.

This anniversary edition Oris watch includes a supple calf skin strap with a matching bronze pin buckle to complement the case color. The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th Anniversary Edition 754 7741 3167-07 5 20 58BR is encased in 40mm of bronze surrounding a green dial on a brown leather strap. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The watch also measures 12mm in thickness and 48.4mm from lug-to-lug.
