ସହରରେ ରହୁଥିବା ଗରିବଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏବେ ବଡ଼ ଖବର। ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ନିଜସ୍ୱ ଜମି ବା ଘର ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ଲଟ୍ ଯୋଗାଇ ଦେବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ସରକାର। ଗ୍ରାମାଞ୍ଚଳ ଭଳି ଏବେ ସହରରେ ବି ଲାଗୁ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି ବସୁନ୍ଧରା ଯୋଜନା ।
The Odisha government is set to expand the Basundhara Yojana to urban areas, aiming to provide land or housing plots to landless and lower-income families. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari stated that while rural challenges involve lack of resources to build homes, urban areas face land scarcity. To address this, the government will adopt a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model where government land is unavailable.
