Plot to kill Jesus

The Sanhedrin (Jewish religious leaders also known as high priests) plotted to find an excuse to kill Jesus for sedition against the Roman Empire who repeatedly:

1. rebuked the Jewish religious authority of their wrong religious teachings;
2. criticized their hypocritical and self righteous behavior and
3. condemned commercial activities in the Temple which their livelihood depended on.
