Hurricane Laura | Galveston County braces for impact, strongly urges residents to evacuate
Hurricane Laura has prompted mandatory evacuations along the Galveston coastline and surge storm warnings.
Galveston County Judge Mark Henry urges residents to evacuate the area as rescue efforts will be almost impossible during the storm.
He reminded residents to bring any prescription medication, personal protection supplies and all pets.
