Boeing's 787-9 Dreamliner First Flight "On Cloud Nine"
A major milestone for the 787 program. The New 787-9 Dreamliner completed it maiden voyage on September 17, 2013. The second member of the 787 family, the 787-9 is 20 feet longer and carries 40 more passengers than the 787-8. On its first flight the 787-9 flew flawlessly for over 5 hours. A truly historic event.
