They Built a Court in Hell

33,000 Union prisoners crammed into a space built for 10,000.

Starvation. Disease. Death.

And then came the Raiders — gangs who preyed on the weak inside Andersonville.

So other prisoners formed the Regulators, built their own court, held their own trial… and hanged six men inside the camp.

Not by guards.
By prisoners.

Even in hell… men demanded justice.

But most of us wouldn’t have been Raiders.
We wouldn’t have been heroes either.

We would have survived.

Would you have stepped forward?
