[Traffic Cam] Seattle Police chase armed carjacker

On Wednesday, February 3rd, Seattle Police were involved in a pursuit with a pickup truck that was carjacked at gunpoint from Crown Hill, in north Seattle. I was able to capture some of the chase on city traffic cameras, as well as footage of the aftermath.

Police chases are tricky to get on traffic camera, because they move so fast, and if the audio is delayed it's hard to get to the right traffic camera before the chase passes by.

In this case, I got pretty good footage while the suspect was southbound on 15th Ave to Mercer Street, but I lost track of the chase when he turned toward Lake Union, and then back toward the international district.

The online scanner I was using (openmhz.com) also started lagging / cutting out, so I had to use a different scanner on my phone. By the time I got caught back up, the chase was over.
