Surviving PTSD: A Vietnam veteran’s insight on his lifelong struggle
Prescott, Arizona, resident Robert Lynn Pedigo has struggled with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) ever since returning from his service in the Vietnam War in 1970.
While he has found ways to cope with the bulk of his symptoms, he still struggles with it even today.
"It's not simply something that just goes away," Pedigo said.
Pedigo speaks about some of what he has gone through over the years and empathizes with the U.S. troops who have come back from more recent military conflicts abroad.
