Team IndiaMeteorologicalDepartment under #MoESGoI is offering real-time observations & data on rainfall, wind, and severe weather events like thunderstorms, cyclones, and hailstorms through Doppler Weather Radars (DWRs).

✅Accurate observations & forecasting yield substantial benefits bolstering the economy & saving lives.

✅In 2023 India has 37 DWRs across the country, taking weather information to the district and block level, benefiting farmers, livestock rearers, and coastal communities.

✅By 2025, Team #IMD under #MoES aims to expand 🇮🇳’s DWR networks, further strengthening our weather science capabilities.
